Alex Redei

My name is Alex Redei. I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Nevada- Reno working under professor Sergiu Dascalu. My research interests include software engineering, HCI, virtual-reality, robotics, and flight simulation and I have a strong background working on world-class robotic systems for automating life science research.

Expert in COM - yes it's an old technology, but it's still in use everywhere. I'm a self-made expert in COM, I can diagnose problems through the GAC and lookup CLSIDs in the registry to track down disconnects.

Interested in learning cool languages like F#, R, Rust, Go, and ipython notebook. Launched an ipython notebook into the cloud for a collaborative project.
